Thankful Today and Everyday

Thankful Today and Everyday

If there is anything we can agree on, it’s that since childhood many of us have been taught the holidays, specifically Thanksgiving, are a time of gratitude, and well, thankfulness. We ruminate on the thoughts of our family, the friends we hold dear, and the opportunity to share a delicious and bountiful meal together. Yet, what are we thankful for the other 364 days of the year? To find the answers, we asked our Enveed community what they were thankful for this last year, and this is what they had to say..

Health and Wellness

Unsurprisingly, this was the number one topic throughout discussions surrounding gratitude. While health usually makes the list of most thankful mentions, this year it carried more authenticity and less platitude, going beyond the obligatory ode to good health. What we heard was genuine appreciation, not only for healing and wellness but for the strength many now recognize they hold within themselves. We were told of first-time marathon runners who understood if there was a time to start, it was now. Bicyclists took to the streets and trails, with bicycle sales at an increase of 203% in sales. Many found the strength to change habits that were less beneficial and swap for those that would help them to be their best selves, whether that was more nutritious foods or introducing vitamins and supplements to daily routines. Most of all, people are thankful for the mere opportunity to make these changes and for the chance to do better.

Traditions and Experiences

It’s no secret that last year was challenging for many. Sports seats were filled with cardboard cutouts, graduations were limited to only a few guests, and holidays were pieced together with Zooms and Facetimes. If we have learned anything, it is that traditions, both big and small, are the thread that weaves through the fabric of our experiences. This year many are thankful for the ability to once again participate in the traditions that have brought joy throughout the years. We are once again able to travel and gather, carving turkey together and laughing with some of our favorite people. We can attend baby showers and birthday parties. Friday nights are once again filled with bowling and pizza, leaving Saturdays open for college football and Sundays filled with live music and entertaining brunches. Once again, people are doing the things they enjoy and they are thankful.

Thankful For My Dog

There is a deep truth to the saying “a dog a day keeps the loneliness away”. With the constant companionship a furry friend can bring, is it any surprise to see this on the list? The loyalty and judgment-free support that exudes from our pets is something we all strive to obtain. Regardless if it’s a day on the couch in our pajamas, or a hike up the mountainside to take in our favorite view, they are there with tails wagging. Always happy to be part of the adventure, dogs teach us how to live in the moment, seizing every opportunity and doing so with gratitude.

 Thankful For YOU

This list would not be complete without a heartfelt THANK YOU to our Enveed community. It is because of our family, friends, ambassadors, and most importantly, the loyal customers that we have had the opportunity to grow and expand throughout the years. We would not be where we are without every single one of you, and for that, we are deeply grateful. As we head into another year, we look forward to bringing you more health, wellness, and happiness with our CBD products!
