Stepping outside we welcome cool breezes, autumn aesthetics, and the sounds of crispy leaves crackling under our feet. We can’t help but absorb the sprouting hues of reds, yellows, and gold as they work seamlessly together to craft one of the most enjoyable times of the year. With Labor Day in the rearview mirror and most of us seeing the last of the summer heat, we are allowing the excitement of the season upon us and all its festivities to inspire us to live our very best fall life. With that in mind, we rounded up some of our favorite harvest recipes to share with all of you. Sweet, cozy, and perfectly spiced, these fall treats with CBD are everything you need to start your autumn out right!
CBD Spiced Apple Cider
The satisfying smell of crisp apples with a hint of fall spices has been drifting through the ENVEED kitchen lately and we couldn’t be more pleased. There is something about the familiar scent that draws a note of remembrance from all who step into its presence. Equally stunning is the sharp complementary pairing of the robust spices with the sweet tang of both apple and citrus to create a gratifying cup of comfort.
Ingredients:
- 64 fl oz of Apple Cider
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 2 tsp whole cloves
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- Honey to taste
- Cinnamon sticks
- 1 dropper of ENVEED’s “Clarity” CBD oil (use preferred strength)
Instructions:
- Heat apple cider in a large saucepan on medium-high heat for 25 minutes
- Add honey and let it melt until dissolved.
- Add in spices and cinnamon sticks and stir occasionally
- Pour into your favorite mug and add ½ drop of CBD tincture to each drink.
- Garnish with a tasty cinnamon stick
Pumpkin Bread with CBD Icing
If fall had a taste, it would be this delicious pumpkin spice bread! Did we eat more than one slice? Sure did. Do we have any regrets? Not at all! Every bite delivers a balance of moist pumpkin spice and with a hint of citrus that, like us, will have you coming back for more.
Yields 2 loaves
The loaf:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1-1/2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 15-oz can pumpkin puree
CBD sugar-free icing:
- 1 dropper of ENVEED’s 1000mg “Clarity” CBD oil or ENVEED’s Immunity
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 325°F and move a rack into the middle of the oven.
Grease two 8 x 4-inch loaf pans with butter and dust with flour.
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Continue mixing until well combined and no lumps remain. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the sugar and butter on medium speed until just blended using an electric mixer or a fork. One at a time add the eggs, beating well after each one is added. Continue beating until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Stir in the pumpkin and mix well.
Add the flour mixture into the pumpkin batter and continue stirring until smooth and no lumps remain.
Pour the batter into the greased pans, dividing evenly, and bake for 65 – 75 minutes.
Remove and let the loaves cool in the pans for about 15 minutes, then remove and place loaves onto a wire rack to cool completely.
While loaves are cooling, combine icing ingredients into a small saucepan at low heat.
Mix in cream cheese, vanilla extract, and butter until smooth and melted
Add in your ENVEED “Clarity” CBD oil
Drizzle over plated and fully cooled loaves.
